Araza boi fruit/ eugenia stipitata is a fruit tree native to the amazon rainforest in brazil, colombia and ecuador. Commonly known as amazonian pear, araza in spanish and araca, araca boi in portuguese. The fruit has an intense orangish-yellow hue. The huge, round, yellow fruit is smooth and bubbly in texture and has a very distinctive sweet and sour flavour. Fruit usually ripens by fall and has a very rich fruity aroma. A type of fruit tree in the guava family is called araza boi. Due to its pleasing aroma, flavour, colour, and texture, it is quite adaptable. Araza boi has a lot of potassium and nitrogen and is a wonderful source of vitamins and minerals.
