Description

The avocado, scientifically known as persea americana, is a remarkable fruit celebrated for its rich, creamy texture and diverse culinary applications. The avocado is distinct in both appearance and taste. Externally, it features a dark green to blackish skin, which can vary in texture from smooth to rough depending on the variety. The most common varieties include the hass avocado, known for its pebbly skin and small seed, and the fuerte avocado, with smoother, thinner skin and a larger seed. Upon slicing, the interior reveals a vibrant green to yellow flesh, encircling a large, central seed. It’s often called “alligator pear” due to its pear shape and bumpy green skin.
