Kera Keralam is a high yielding tall cultivar and famous for its size, taste and water content. It is highly demanding coconut for copra. Seed nuts are collected from at least 40 years old mother palm to produce seedlings. It is ideal general-purpose cultivar, suitable for both tender coconut and mature coconut. It produces good quality copra ideal for oil industries. Flowering starts in between four to five years after plantation under good management.
