School boy, also known by the name anak sekola, is largely grown in the sarawak province of malaysia. The rind is deep red in color while the hairs retain the original green color throughout. Sweetness is 21 brix and the post-harvest shelf life is 3-4 days. The comparatively small size of the fruit is compensated by the profuse bearing. Also provides vitamins b2 (riboflavin) and b3 (niacin), as well as essential minerals like iron, calcium, and potassium
